i actually don't work for this company any longer (it's been more than 2 years even, yikes!)...just haven't gotten around to removing it with notrot admin.
too embarrassed to admit who i actually work for...they're jerks. i'm only a notary "on the side" i'm actually a settlement agent and have been for nearly 6 years.

You might want to call NR to get it changed. Your former

employer could take issue to you using their name. I also find it confusing & my mind wants to associate it with "advertising".

Gag. I seriously doubt those of us who don't link to our profiles are doing it out of fear. Some of us just plain don't want to, why is that concept so difficult for so many to get through their skulls?

I agree with Cali, here. I don't think the lack of a link, in itself, is all that horrible a thing. I went a long time without doing it.

Just because you and some others have a stick up your butt about everyone revealing their names, phone numbers, and email addresses doesn't mean everyone else does. And it doesn't make you more special because you choose to do it.

If the person who owns this website doesn't think it's important enough to make it mandatory, then why does anyone else care? If you want to do it, do it. If you don't, don't. If you want to only read messages by people who are linked, then do that. But please don't climb on your high horse and start telling the rest of us, many who have been here YEARS longer than you have, that the "culture" of the board needs to shift to one that meets your standards.

Use the board however you want, but quit telling the rest of us how we should do it.

Thank you...She is my great granddaughter - my first. She's 6mos now, but I don't have an online place to share photos so put her here for two days only. Tomorrow she will be gone to be replaced with me with my youngest GD. I don't get my pic taken much except with family.
