rant . . . 150 plus pages

and most of it is so nonessential - like 30 pages of escrow docs. My toner is costing more & more and it is getting harder to make a profit!

Anybody having any luck marketing directly to TC's and " working smarter not harder"?

I hear you, but ......

I market to everyone .... The only thing you can do about your fee is set one that you think is fair and stick to it. Then the SS or TC will either accept or decline. Of course, your volume may decline depending on how much competition you have in your area. I have had some volume issues in my area not related to the depressed market in general because there are ten cent notaries who will take an edoc signing for $75, something I will not do. It's tough times.

I find it's the paper that has gone up the most. I can find deals on letter size, but the legal never seems to be on sale any longer. Do you refill your own toner? If you are buying new or even a cartridge from a re-filler, you are paying much, much, much, much more than necessary.

Go through all your expenses and see where you might be able to economize on. Use the orange search button, as there has been a lot of good discussion here in the past.

Good Luck ...
