received some checks from NREIS
but ufortunately not enough. They claim that ther are checks scheduled to go out next check run-in a few weeks. How ridiculous to have to wait. A few weks will be April for signings I did in Jan. and they have the nerve to kep calling me for more

I posted in another thread..they called me for a signing
about an hour ago - I declined due to their recent poor payment record. Would rather see them get back in shape before I jump on this ship.

Re: they called me for a signing too
I agree Linda..We can be professional when we decline..Who knows they may come back! They called me last week and it was a scheduler I have not heard of before and I explained due to not getting paid I cannot take anymore assignments. She was very nice and said she understood.

At least they are making good on their promises to pay. IMHO, if it was a stall tactic due to bankruptcy filing you wouldn't have got anything. I used to work for NREIS, always good to work with. I stopped working for them when they wouldn't budge on the fee.

Me too. As promised. Good outcome. Rejoice!

I accepted an appointment for them for Tuesday of this week and I told them, that I would do it, but I would not return the DOCS until I Received my DEC outstanding check, that was promised for 3/22. While in route to the signing, I received a call that the appointment had been cancelled. When I got home, I received an invoice to fill out for payment of my printing. Today, 3/25, I received my check dated 12/24/2009.
