American Freedom Assurance

They are past due with my payment and they want to act as though it is MY problem when I call to be paid...I daresay if they wanted me to do a signing tonight and I agreed to do so then they would not wait weeks for me to complete it. I am pretty certain that they would call me tonight if I didn't do what I said I was going to. Funny how the same rules don't apply to their payment practices. They now say their invoices are not even due until way past 30 days and that is their "published policy." I asked where it was published and of course got a new excuse. Geez!

Wow, what will they think of next? I worked for them once a year ago - I remember they had some crazy requirement that you could only invoice them, using their invoice template, on the 20th of each month. I had to wait three weeks before I could even send them my invoice! Then after that it took almost 30 days for them to pay. Ridiculous.

They are 6 MONTHS late with me - My last contact with them the invoice was being "moved up in priority level!"
