Docs have tomorrow's date
Instructions are to sign today? If I use the correct signing date for the notary section. And the borowers sign with today's date. Is it ok to use these docs?

Is it a split signing?
When I had that happen (not a split signing) and brought it to the TCs attention, they said to go ahead and complete the signing. The signing got kicked back and borrowers had to re-sign. I was paid full fee for both signings. All you can do is bring it to the attention of the TC that the docs are dated for the future. If they tell you to complete the signing anyway, proceed - making sure your notarial certificates are dated for the day you sign (current date). If it gets rejected, hopefully they will call you for the re-sign.

This issue has been discussed before. First, check with the tc. Generally, our only concern is the date the borrowers sign & the date that we witness those signatures & notarize to that effect.

Ask first...
I've had this happen before, and they had me go out as planned. The docs were not kicked back. But every time, I've called first, documented the conversation and proceeded as instructed.

Re: Ask first...
Ask first is good advice. I had docs with "tomorrow's" date. Lender had to redraw and then the signing took place. Notifying the party that hired you is the best strategy.
