Genuine Title unprofessional

Got a call to do a signing at 3:30 for a 4:00 signing. Said yes then remembered something on here about how they pay. Looked them up, and not good. Emailed back that I would not do the signing based on their payment record. Back and forth with how wonderful they pay. I did one for them back in Oct. 09 for $60 for loan app and took 90 days!! I sent in invoice on time. Boy did I dodge a bullet!

Shannon says my emails are comical. Glad I made her laugh. Hers are sad. The things she wrote back are cutting and immature from a business. It looks like they pay notaries according to if they get paid. So, if you want to roll the dice and see if you get paid, go for it. Can't write much longer because I have to go to another signing. Glad I didn't take theirs or I would have missed this one and getting $50.00 more!! Don't settle for this company to work for, they are very unprofessional.

I got a similar call from Genuine Title a couple of weeks ago. She called about 6:15 pm for a 6:00 pm loan app signing.
I said it's after 6:00 now, and she said that's ok, just as soon as you can get there is fine. Please call and set up with Bo.
I had a feeling that I had heard their name, so I hung up and checked NotRot and a couple of other sites. All said "they're bad news!"
Then I saw that the email confirmation had a different notary's name. No wonder it was last minute. They had assigned it to someone else, who bailed out on it. Also, the fee was not what I had quoted her.
Immediately I called her back and she didn't answer. So I left a message, and then emailed and said I'm not taking the signing due to their poor payment history.
I got an email response right away. I have to say that she was actually very civil about it. She said I would have been paid timely. I still wouldn't have taken it - everyone promises to pay timely when they want you to do the signing. She thanked me for calling the Bo and for letting her know right away.
I'm sure she wasn't surprised. She must know what is said about them on this site.

Had a rush job from them as well and told the borrowers are waiting for this to sign today, printed docs, called borrowers, they declined. No payment by Genuine Title for printed docs. Partly my mistake for not calling borrowers 1st instead of printing docs and beliving they were signing that day. Emailed the "President" of the Company who said they would pay me the print docs but haven't seen that check.

I feel sorry for some of the people that work there. Imagine having to work for a liar with the business ethics of Konstantin Safir. It must be a really fun place to work!

I have them logged in my caller ID so they show up "NO! Genuine Title" when they call. I never answer it.

I have been told they will not call again and I also do that to companies with bad reputations. Genuine now has a "no" in front of their name.

I used to do work for them time to time and they paid at first and then starting sending late payments for 2 months and Konstantin Safir kept lying and stating that the payment had been sent. I got paid, however, it was $20 short. I just don't waste my time with them anymore. It seem they are very unorganized and definitely are not very ethical when it comes to paying on time.
