for refusing to do a job for a caompany with very low ratings, complaints about non pmts and late pmts ... so I guess I am hostile!

I guess it depends on how you handled the refusal...
I mean, did you say, "I'm sorry... I'm not available."
Or did you say, "Haha, you people suck. I'd never dream of taking an assignment from you deadbeat losers."
Or maybe, "I'm sorry, but I am unable to accept assignments from your company based on adverse reports from other notary professionals."

number 3 ... stayed very polite and than oops emails started to stream in telling how good of a company they are etc etc ... he probably never read SC

Good indication of how well SC is actually doing when
a company that has a bad rep is actually getting upset because the truth about their business ethics is actually getting out to everyone.
