There are always conditions and hoops you must jump through. Check it out yourself.

$150 minimum order required. Limit 2 cases per customer.

I think you forgot to mention this....who has a $150.00 to spend at the end of the month, but thanks Erwin anyway.

Looked at the ad in Sundays paper. There is no mention of any minimum purchase. This is an in-store ad, not the online sale.

Here's the deal..

You pay regular price $40.00 per case...buy two cases $80.00 and you get a rebate certificate..your rebate will come in the form of a gift card for...guess who?

Re: Here's the deal..

Normaly, they have an "easy rebate" in the ad. I didn't see that in this mornings ad.

The prepaid Visa Cards are usually valid anywhere.

I just spent one today at the store. It paid for 1/2 my weekly food bill!

I dunno.... went to my local Staple store & bought 2 cases for $43.98 (+ Tax) this morning.
And that's all I bought.

yea Lee it must be an in store thing like he mentioned. I called two stores in my area and that's what's happening here. I use more legal than letter, about 4 to 1. Wish I could use that letter deal. It would take me about a year to use it.

Dual Tray Printer

The choice to purchase a dual tray for your printer can ultimately save you money.
In most loan packages there are more letter size documents than legal.

Legal paper at Sam's Club is $42.65 and letter is $26.29.

Just picked up mine. Thanks!!!

Heck of a deal!! No rebates, no minimums. Plus I had $9 of Staples Rewards money (from recycling some used toner cartridges) that was going to expire this week. I was planning to just buy more binder clips which I won't really need again for a while - but letter paper I will need pretty soon!

I love it when timing works out right to take advantage of a good deal!! Many thanks again for the heads up. Smile

Staples Ads Misleading (IMHO).......

I don't care for Staples....their ads are misleading and give false impressions of the savings. Once their in-store ad gave the impression that you buying the reams of paper at $2.99, so I grabbed several reams. The lady rings them up and gives me the total, "That will be $5 million dollars, pleeeeaz!!"

HUH? "Your ad says $4.99 regular price, on sale for $2.99." Sorry, that "final price" is with an online rebate, minimum purchase of $X,XXX,XXX,XXX, 6 drops of your own blood, 3 bat hairs, a 4 leaf clover and your bronze baby shoes, pleeeeeaz!!"

Geez, all that for a $2.00 discount? Nevermind!!

LOL!!! So true! This one was happily different.

I should add, however, that it was an in-store ad. I got an email today with their weekly online promo stuff and noticed that there was another ad that required a min. $50 purchase.

I haven't yet had a chance to open my Sunday paper, so I was glad to read about this promo. I decided to give it a try on my way back from an earlier appt. and found it to be a straightforward discounted price, with no strings for a change.

BTW, the display said limit two cases per customer, but an employee who helped me get my two cases into a cart said that someone earlier had bought 32 cases! Go figure.

Today I ended up spending about $19 per case (after taxes and my Rewards coupon).
