Re: Jeff, this should make you happy. I cut my finger and it

Sorry you cut your finger. I think it is pretty pathetic that some people feel that is their place to decide which afflictions are worthy of sympathy and which aren't. In other words, you deserve to cut your finger because you're insensitive, but a blind person can do just about anything insensitive and get away with it just because they're blind. Who gave Jeff the right to decide?

Susan is right. Also raise your hand and keep it up for a few minutes as well.

Re: Don't soak - use pressure on cut to stop bleeding.

Hi...its still bleeding but I'm holding off going to the hospital. I did like you guys suggested. It stops and then it starts again. The pressure on it makes it bleed more. I think it will probably be OK since it seems to be slowing down some. Thanks, all.

Pressure ~on~ the slit. The entire hole. Hard Pressure.

"Slowing down some" is a lousy prognosis.

STOP THE BLEEDING. With direct pressure. Not water, not a wimpy grip.
