Is anyone doing anything to collect past due invoices from National Real Estate?
Has anyone received payments?
I hope noone is taking new signings from them!

I received a check 2-3 weeks ago for a closing performed

in January. I'm still waiting to be paid for one more. By reading the posts here on NotRot and emailing the individuals named in those posts, I have been paid for all but one closing. NREIS is still calling me but in light of outstanding monies I have been declining. BTW the schediulers that have been calling me are all new names. None of the old-timers who I'd grown close to.

I just received a check from LenderVend yesterday for a signing on 5/6/10. I believe they are somehow affiliated with NREIS.

Yep, my most recent check for NREIS work was from LenderVend. Like Michelle, I'm still owed one from months ago (Feb 2010), so I continue to decline new assignments.

I've done work for them but it takes 3 months or more to get checks out of them.I kept emailing and calling them and they would always say the "checks are in the que." They owe me about $650 for signings I did for them in March 2010.

I too have been declining work from them and telling them they owe me too much money to take more. They called on Tuesday this week for another one and I gave them a slightly inflated fee and she told me that was unreasonable. I told her that when I have to wait 3-5 months for payment I did not think it was unreasonable. Of course I got the "I have to get approval and will call you back" thing and never heard back. Oh well.
