National Link/Service Link

Are they the same people and why aren't they on the list to be checked out?

Re: Service Link is there....don't know who National Link is

I've been to the offices of both they are owned by same company. I've recently completed closings for both and it looks like national link has moved to the service link location at least the instructions said to send the national link loan package to the service link location.

As far as I can tell, they are the same company. However, I do think they have two separate and distinct client lists. (It's been a long time since I did a signing for either of them.)

As for Signing Central, ServiceLink is listed, but NationalLink is not. Don't know why.

I do closings for Nat'l Link all the time. They are the same as Service Link, just a different division, I guess you'd say. When you bill SL at the beginning of the month you invoice for both SL and NL on the same monthly billing sheet. They'll send the checks in separate envelopes, but they are both signed by the same person.

In the past, I invoiced them together and was told to not to. They both have their own invoices. Both need to be sent snail mail but to different addresses.

Yesterday I received a request for a loan signing for this company. The communication was very poor and they never told me I had to invoice them on their invoice, which they never sent me. And this policy of sending their invoice by mail. How strange is that.

I have sent multiple emails and no one has replied to tell me how to get THEIR invoice so I can be paid.

I will never work for them again. I think I remember in the past that there was a problem with them but I forgot, when I accepted this assignment. The pay they offered seemed reasonable but maybe they aren't providing me with THEIR invoice because they never plan on paying me?!

Oh forgot National Link did only National City mortgages and now PNC. Service Link did all other mortgage companies.

I bill them both together every month. Never told to do it any different and always send to the one address. I've been doing that without a problem for years.

yrs ago, I did a lot for ServiceLink (old good operation), I was ask to do signing for National Link which had been formed to work with some new lenders. NationalLink had more "requirements" to be in thier data base than ServiceLink.
What they do now, I don't know.
They won't meet my fees.

National Link was a joint venture between ServiceLink and National City Bank. Since National City was purchased out of bankruptcy it is a venture of ServiceLink and PNC. Perhaps some day they will change the name.
