Since there has been some discussion recently on the subject, it would beneficial to know which companies are actually perusing the discussion forum of this site. And what impact, if any, do the comments made here have on your decision to use or avoid a particular notary.
Any feedback from the hiring entities would be appreciated.

Do you really think anyone will respond? They are not
permitted to be members or posters (would be advertising). I have heard that some follow the boards, even though none of that should be a consideration in getting an assignment. IMO it has to do with the reputation of some of the boards for "bashing ss".

Not true Marilyn:) We have all seen signing services respond sometimes to the posts regarding their slow or no pay. And I do have a signing service (since 2003) and am listed in Signing Central:)

These people are way too busy to monitor this board's forum. Work force is reducing, they are hammered.

I am a NSA, and have been for years. I also own a Signing Service. I read this board daily if I can (not EOM). I have worked with many that post here. I usually give little regard to anonymous posters. There are some exceptions, mostly 'old timers' that I have worked with for years. My main concern is how well one does their job, not their opinions. However it is evident by their posts that there are some very knowledgeable NSA’s that post here. Working with smart, knowledgeable people makes my job easier. Most who know me know that I have the Notary’s best interest at heart, for without your good services, I’m out of business. I fight with clients every day to try and keep the notary fees they will pay at a reasonable level. Yes I make some too, but to stay in business I must. I have never not paid a Notary and I’m not a low-baller.

Re: Sorry...Forgot to add link
I really have to add a couple of more things about Susan!
A few years ago a friend of mine's husband was in hospital, dying of cancer. He really missed seeing Pike's Peak. Susan went out of her way to get a Pikes Peak poster for him, and she Fedexed it to David in the hospital, and the nurses (even though it was against hospital regs) put it on the wall in his room so he could see Pikes Peak. He died not long after. Susan would not allow me to reimburse her for the poster or Fedex charges.
Also, some of you may remember I was in hospital in 2006, spent a week in intensive care, the first thing delivered to me when they moved me out of intensive care was a beautiful basket of flowers, with an angel in it from Susan. Every morning, the first thing I saw when I woke up was that angel. I still have it.
Susan, you are one in a million!

"Thank you for the kind words"
Just "telling it like it is" Susan! And it wasn't like I had done a lot of signings for you at the time. In fact I think I only ever did a couple of signings for you. But you went out of your way when I called you about a Pikes Peak poster for David, you have no idea how much that poster meant to him. His wife still has the poster on her wall in a frame.

Susan: Thank you!
Susan,
I have not worked for you but I will say...
"I have never not paid a Notary and I’m not a low-baller."
Your excellent ratings in SC prove this to be true. Even though I have not worked for you, allow me to say Thank you, for being one of the good SS companies.

Where’s the airbrush?!! Sorry being 50 plus, Working from 5 AM ‘till 8PM MDT (really 24/7) Wondering how to explain to Title why the (good /experienced) put the UPS package in the FedEx box. Or after correcting their mistake (no notary seal…sorry!! I forgot!) Now wants ME to pay to re-ship the docs to Title. I used to be good looking back in the days I just had a job!
