Changes for Industry Straight Up Ahead

Is everyone aware of the serious situation with the FED announcing QE2? It is serious stuff, things are scary up ahead. If you were part of the golden age of loan signings and real estate, those days are over. I know many won't want to hear it but please store up food, water, emergency supplies and take some time to plan on what you will do if the banks collapse. Everyone should have a back up plan. This is not the the "00"s anymore. Not the 90's for sure. This is serious s**t hitting the fan up ahead.

Our country may collapse economically. You all are very bright people but I just thought I'd remind anyone who may be working too hard to notice things are going to shift straight up ahead.

On whichever forum's homepage you want to go to (in this case politics), click on the orange search button (I hope it's orange... it's a memory thing-lol). Towards the bottom, you'll see two ways to look up messages: 1) by message number - so put the above number in that box, or 2) by keywords. Hope this helps.

It's true, I've lived through many disasters, a dam break destroyed our home when I was three, then major earthquakes. I'm a bit of a chicken little, it's true. But I swear one day the sky will fall, its just a matter of when.

I totally agree that our government is going to economically collapse this country. Check out George Soros' reputation! He collapses countries' economies for a living, lol

Fortunately, my family has always had a year supply of food and goods stocked up because you never know when you will need it, and when you do, you will be glad you stocked up. I know some churches have programs to help you get started in your local area or national businesses that sell emergency kits.

do what the settlers did when they arrived at Jamestown. There's a book entitled "lies my teachers told me" by James Lowen that will tell you about stocking up.....it includes what the REAL thanksgiving feast was.

While many of the posts in this thread are seriously funny, I am reminded of the parable that "just because you are paranoid doesn't mean that someone isn't after you." Unfortunately, if any calamity ever befell our great & sovereign nation, stocking up on supplies is considered "hoarding" by the g o v e r n m e n t. And, according to talk radio (so, you know it must be true), hoarding is illegal. Seriously, though, best to stay under 'their' radar, so to speak. Of course, this brings up another key point, which is that free speech will likely be further suppressed if not outright banned in the event of a major catastrophe. Creative resourcefulness is the watch-phrase of the day...
