Does anyone know the web site or telephone # of where we register to be a registered mobile notary in their data base?

They do not have a place to sign up. At least not here in CA. You must apply to their system, via someone (an escrow officer, most likely) who "sponsors" you, and assists you in getting into their system. It takes time, data, and persistance, and is not open to just anyone. You literally have to "know" someone. Even then it doesn't guarantee that you will get tons of calls, unless the person who got you "in", is someone who is in a position to use you regularly.

In addition to what Sheila states, sometimes they will asked you to do something that is questionable and expect you to do it because as I was told, ' Notaries are s u p p o s e to help the TC out!"

ChiCAWgo Title...is a who da you know to get a closing...

and/or extreme good fortune if they call you direct.

I do work for them, but through a couple of brokers that I've known for years. Once in a blue moon, I'll get a call from an out of state SS or broker where the CT is the title company.
