Font size
How can I increase the font size on documents being received on Adobe? A client recently said that my font size was too small on a Deed of Trust....Thanks

Isn't that their problem - in the document prep
software they use and the way they scan it in? I know there are recording requirements in place affecting font size, margins, etc etc.....but is the font size YOUR problem since you're not the document preparer??
Do you have a copier where you can enlarge it? That might work...

I don't think you can change the font size but you can enlarge the document when printing. When you go to "control Print" in the page scaling use "fit to printable area". If it's still too small and you have a two drawer laser printer force the printer to print legal size only. Let me know if you don't know how to do it.

I also got a quality issue for the "font being incorrect". I tried to find out if it was too small, too large , or what? I could never get the answer from the title company what the problem was. I have a solution for THEIR problem. Sent us the paperwork overnight docs as they used to and they would not have this problem any more from anyone.

I sometimes receive a HUD to large for either letter or legal paper. I tell the sender the HUD has to be rescanned for me to receive it properly. There is nothing I can do to correct a HUD that does not fit the page. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes - I adjust the print settings and set the printer to legal size paper, uncheck the "choose by pdf size" box, and select "shrink to fit". That seems to do the trick. Afterward, just have to remember to set the settings back to the way they were.
