Glad I finally took the time

I' ve been a Notary for 10 years and always felt that there was no one to get feedback from that was in the industry. Since the Loan signing busines has basically went away from dealing directil with title companies I haven't been doing as many signing as I would like to do. Are there any suggestion on how to get more business. I'm in No Cal Eastbay

Marrie I would suggest you put in your zip code in "find a notary" and see who your competition is. What are their hours and areas they cover.

We are all each other's competition for the work in this area but we are not necessarily going to turn our backs. Read the profiles here and on other forums.

We all advertise and have worked hard to build our client base. You will have to do likewise IMO. As far as tips, reading this forum daily will provide a lot of valuable information you can use. Good Luck!

Boy what a loss. We as a group contribute on a daily basis of who's paying and who's not and more importantly if someone is in a pickle and needs help we give our opinion to hopefully bail them out or just different perspectives. This is without a doubt the best chatroom in our industry. I suggest you read this not just daily but every chance you get when sitting at the computer. Good Luck.

I don't remember where I heard/read this but

I do remember a number that was in the tens of thousands. The actual number I remember was 40,000 - but I COULD BE MAKING THIS UP. I am NOT known for my memory!

Cari, that's what I was saying a few days back...we're just a small part of the big picture. When I spoke to the notary who told me she was charging $50 - $60, she NEVER read the forum. That's who the SS are longing for. We might as well stop talking about low-ball and start drinking high-balls. LOL
