Help please, Natl Vendor Solution PDF print problems
Everytime I receive the PDF file from them it will NOT print correctly. When it gets to certain letter size pages it just stops printing and spits out an error message page.
Subsystem: Kernel Error: Illegal Operator Sequence Operator: ReadImage Position: 23174 or 568779 or a diff number pertaining to page I assume
It is the only file I receive and cannot print both copies in about 5 minutes. It takes about an hour which is sad.
Any ideas?

Maybe the problem is page sizing. Some scanners that I've owned have had two paper sizes for letter and if the size the scanner calls for is the wrong one it may not be able to auto-select.

You may have to print on all legal if the docs are scanned to odd sizes.

First thing I do when a print prob occurs is I call/write...
and tell them to email it to me as an attachment. Sometimes I figure out the next day what the prob was. If they send them as an attachment .pdf, they almost always print out right. There's just something about docs uploaded to a site that they just don't always come out right. Sometimes it's just jibberish. I have the most recent adobe acrobat always running, so I don't have time to figure out what the problem is with their site. Send me the docs...I'll print'em, close it, and maybe we figure it out later why you have a problem sending me docs through your site.
My adobe is set to Shrink to Printable Area, Auto Rotate and Center OFF, Choose paper source by .PDF size. If that doesn't print right, I have them email it to me. If that still doesn't work, I pick up the phone.
Too late to help you tonight, but that's what I do.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
JJ

They are sent as an attachment...never had a problem with any other PDF other than some printing really slowly...but they print.

Haven't seen that error, but occasional print jobs will stop mid-stream, so I have printed in batches, pgs 1-30, pgs 31-60, etc. and it all came out fine, although a slower way to go. Never did figure out why it was happening.

Are these Citizens loans? I've done there's with NLC and they always need to be shrunk to fit since their originals always exceed the margins on the legal sizes. I don't have dual tray, so I print all on legal. So I don't know about the letter sizes. They all just follow along with one print setup.

Thanks all, I will try all legal next time around, but I have my doubts.

Jim....another option is printer driver. Sometimes the vendor has them set up to use their printer driver. If you have access to their website, try to print the Docs from there. just a suggestion.....another reason to take the day off. IMO
