Interesting....that website reviewing notaries

(supposedly "bad" notaries) that was discussed several days ago? Gone...message posted is:

So, thank you whoever got this done...Smile

Do you suppose that other one reviewing companies

might be next (providing that they actually review any of them)? I noticed that one of the members said they were not the least afraid of saying anything but didn't say anything.

Ha! Knew you wouldn't let that slide, Squeeker, that's

got to feel sweet for all who were maliciously maligned.

You're aces.

different from this one?

Surprised you have to ask, Cari

This site is dedicated to sharing ideas, advice, marketing tips, good experiences and bad experiences. That other one was dedicated solely to defaming notaries. Big difference.

I Think what you stated was the reason I like it (this site) but,..it's the second paragraph of the rules and guidelines that follows the first, not good. MHO

We need to check back often though. This is just a temporary freeze while the site is reviewed to see if it complies with the host's terms of service ....

You're right...it could be temporary...but at least the

sitehost's management is not asleep at the wheel!

Re: Those who reported this site would have received this!

Thank you for notifying the Webs Abuse Department regarding a violation on a site hosted by us. Violations and abuses of our services are taken very seriously. With the enormous number of sites hosted by us, we are unable to catch violations before they happen, and at times, even after they have taken place.

All complaints and notifications are investigated and the site manager notified about the complaint and action that may be needed should they be in violation of our Terms-of-Service. Should action not be taken, the site is frozen pending deletion, unless corrective steps are taken.

We do not freeze or delete sites without investigating the complaint or notification since we do receive a large volume of false or incorrect accusations of such abuses.

You should also understand that although Webs does take responsibility for the content on sites that we host, we do not have the authority to investigate all issues, nor to prevent future violations. You should use your best judgment to contact an attorney or local authorities depending on the violation and what actions you feel need to be taken to prevent future violations by the offender.

Thank you for notifying us about the violation. We hope to take the appropriate action as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Webs Abuse Department

I received this email, and some others of you also received it. Pays to hang together. I'm sure with numerous complaints, we were able to draw the right attention to this completely absurd situation.

Way to go fellow NSAs. I appreciate all of you who jumped in on this in a totally positive manner. Character and ethics can't be too high in this business!

That is exactly the email I received. I think the combined effort of complaints was very effective. I also made a complaint.
