NREIS

NREIS along with Accurate Title Group at the beginning of this month became the two national title companies that M&I Bank will now be using for their mortgage closings instead of using local title companies all around the U.S. I guess they were using something like 115 different ones. Accurate is a dream to work with but NREIS is still up to their same tricks. I thought that since they obtained this new M&I account that maybe they would atleast pay the notaries closing the new M&I loans so as to not lose this big account. So I accepted a closing from them. Boy was I wrong. I found out from Accurate they used a different name than NREIS with M&I so they could get that account. This has got to currently be one of the biggest crooks in the business. I am contemplating if I should try to contact someone at M&I to let them know what is up with NREIS or if it is just a waste of my time.

THAT'S NOT TRUE

Back in August I went to a meeting here in Phoenix at the M&I Bank. We notaries who attended were invited by NREIS so that M&I Bank officials could get to know us. Several peopole from NREIS were there.
What you are doing is spreading gossip. That could get you into a lot of trouble.

How long have you been waiting for your check?

I received one yesterday for a Sept. job. In the past they have been very good payers (less than 2 weeks), then they ran into trouble, but managed to get everyone caught up. I take very little from them at present as they don't have a high credit limit with me. If they start to pay sooner, I'll up their credit limit. They could have just folded like some did, but they plodded through this. If this contract means more work for them and more work for me (and you) why would you want to rock the boat?

Just re-read your post

They only got the account at the beginning of the month and you accepted a signing sometime after that and here it is the 29th and you're complaining that you've not gotten your check? Maybe you should state your definition of timely so we can all understand.
