National Vendors Solutions G, B, U ?
Any one have any input?
I get e-mail confirm and what's the deal with this........."There are to be NO calls made to the borrower(s) in advance. The Closing Date and Time have already been confirmed with the borrower(s) by Mortgage Investors, Corp. The borrower(s) are expecting you to arrive at the closing at the scheduled time"

There are countless discussions on this with NVS. Check the search button. Its pretty much up to you if you want to do that. Some do, some don't.

I've done a couple with no problem; paid as agreed. And then the trouble began-- They scheduled one for 8 AM and I was in the vicinity on time, but could not find the place, but had enough brains to look 'em up in the White Pages before leaving--so called the B. And found out that one B was not available because the appointment was really at 8 PM! I was paid a reasonable trip fee plus the full fee when I returned that night, so they are OK in my book, but we have more or less agreed that in the future I may want to call the B and confirm and they are OK with that. In the future, I will ask that I be able to call first. I don't anticipate a problem.

I have done work for them on several occasions. They are very legitimate and pay on-time. Their instructions are very specific, however I have had no trouble with any closings.

Linked to SC for you :-)
Also, no real issues with them on my part except for the no-contact. I get the number from the lender prior to apt time and re-confirm w/ BO as well as re-confirm the address.
The two major issues I had with them in the past I think were due to bad LO's more than anything. They meet my fees but this does not seem to be "standard" for everyone. As long as they continue to meet my fees and I don't run into the same issues with bad LO's again I'll continue to accept work from them.
Only other major issue is that their lender, probably parent company since they have "only one client" (Mortgage Investors, Corp), seems to be under the impression that all SA's are stupid and are out to destroy their deals. As long as they treat me professional I'll do the same.

Re: Linked to SC for you :-)
I e-mail NVS back with this message:........Do you have a MIC phone number, so I call call them before closing to reconfirm the appointment or any change that may or may not happen. This would be good since I can not call the borrower.
The e-mail this: .............800-891-6678 and ask for closing assistance at MIC.
I can deal with this

MIC will give you the contact number, but only after they have spoken with BO first, but they will give it. Good luck!

I got a signing from them for tomorrow evening about 40 miles away. ( my first with this company). Confirmation was the same thing " NO call to the borrower" They met my fee so I will go by the Golden Rule. They have the gold so they make the rules and I want some of that gold. Besides that they are four star except for a couple of disgruntled remarks. I love four star calls for a signing. I will take this approach until something backfires and then I will reconsider and report.

I closed a loan for them and asked why no call to the borrowers. They said that the lender, Mortgage Investors Corp, has had a problem with SA's going over the numbers with the borrowers ahead of time and they have lost the loan. Closing assistance personnel at MIC are available to answer questions the borrowers might have while at the table.
