Nationwide Consumer Savings, LLC/ Lender's First Choice ?

Has anyone heard of Nationwide Consumer Savings, LLC ? I'm having a hard time finding anything other their web links (which are dated 2010) . I put in the address into search engines and ironically its the same address for Lenders First Choice. I found alot of negative information on this website from back in 08, looks like a more than a few SA got stuck with unpaid invoices due to the company filing bancruptcy. I was contacted by a SS today for them. They are doing "debt consolidations" it was my first one. There was no money to collect, although the client "thought" I was suppose to collect a blank check, they requested bank info from the client for automatic withdrawls to pay for there services and pay off the clients debts. The client is an older woman who is has been a little nervous about doing this, but then still signed even after I told her she didnt have to and that she should do some research. They asked me to refer myself as "field reprensentative of Nationwide Consumer Savings " .. Any thoughts ? I'm very curious, my gut is telling me this is a scam, but can't find any evidence.. thanks

Well if I did not feel right in my gut..I would not do it..I will Never tell anyone that I am their field rep and that I represent the company! I am not there to to sell their program..I am there to have them sign the documents.

I am certain that I will not be doing these..There are so many scams that crop up during hard economic times that it is hard for people to check out credentials of these companies..Just do your homework before agreeing to do this type of work!

Not with this company but I have had two requests for these kinds of closings and the first one the borrower insisted on me sending her two of the documents in the package so she could look them over before I got there. So I did that. She looked them over and was smart enough to realize that she would be paying the debt service over $7,000 in the next four years and None of that money was going to be applied to her debt (which was $10,000), and, then, to top that off, she noticed that they would not even contact the creditor until all of the payments (of the 7,000) was paid and then they would not guarantee that the debt would be reduced but if it was, they would seek to get it reduced by 40%. Now to me that doesn't make any sense. Why pay someone over $7,000 to get a 40% reduction of a debt that is only $10,000? She stated to me that she was going to just go to the creditor herself and see if she couldn't just negotiate a payment plan with them. I other words, YES they are scams. at least in my opinion but who am I! Go with your gut!

I had a signing request last week through a service for this company. I was not that comfortable with referring to myself as a "field representative" nor was I comfortable with the page the company wanted signed by the notary that said "I did not deviate from the script". But, I had accepted the assignment and felt obligated to follow through as best I could. I had done other debt consolidtion signings and had figured this one would be pretty much the same as the others when I accepted. As it turned out, the consumer had no valid identification (even tho she had told me upfront that she did), and I told them I could not proceed with the transaction. The consumer stated she had a friend that was a notary and that this notary would notarize the documents without her having valid i.d. NCS instructed me to leave the documents with the consumer, and let her take them to her "friend". I feel I dodged a bullet on this one and was glad to get out of there. I will not take another signing for this company as I feel something just is not right. Can't put my finger on it. SS is excellent and insisted on paying me for my time and trip charge.
