New Millenium Title

Has anyone heard of New Millenium Title in California? I got a call from them and my caller ID showed a California number. I searched in SC and there are several listed but they're in MN and another state. I'm sure some deadbeat companys are changing their names to cheat notaries. Thanks.

Yesterday someone posted a list of companies they liked. Then people commented on that list. I think that New Millenium Title was on that list. I think everyone said....they like them. You should check this.

The New Millenium that is listed on SC does have a high rating, but they're in other states. I'm talking about someone calling me from California who claims to be New Millinium and they're not listed in SC as being from California. I called the phone number back and his voice mail came on and announced 'New Millenium'. I'm skeptical since anyone can change the name of a company.

Why not call them and ask more questions? the outfit in MN- New Millenium Title Group is also known as Platinum Signing Service. I used to do work with them, but their packages got crazy big and they dropped their fees. I kinda think they might have had offices in Wisconsin and maybe CA...

Re: New Millennium Title Group

I have done work for New Millennium Title Group from TX and WI and they have always paid my fee ($XXX) and paid on time. Although they do require fax back, they are easy to work with. I read on this forum about a week or two ago that a new group in California with the same name is currently marketing and low balling. I have been called by this CA group and they indeed asked for a reduced fee and said they would call me back if they could get it approved, which they never did. I love this forum and find it's good to stay up to date with it.

Re: New Millennium Title Group

They are actually one and the same company. I've gotten calls from TX and CA. Packages are usually large but they pay timely and always meet my fee-$xxx.

Re: IMO, they dont pay enough for all the fax backs they require

I find someone in agreement the fax backs are just too much pushing the time over the limit for what they pay. We should require them to pay more if we have to fax back. It adds 30 minutes to our labor time.

Re: IMO, they dont pay enough for all the fax backs they require

i did a signing for this group recently. the signing service/scheduler called me from Texas. initial rate quoted was low and I told her what my minimum was. She said hold on and I'll see if I can get that approved and she came right back on the line and met my fee. the "closer/escrow" was in Simi Valley and was easy to work with. now, we'll see if I get paid in a timely manner.

They are one of the companies that pay $90 for BofA pkgs. & require faxbacks of about 40 pages. I stopped taking work from them.

That's more than they offered me. What a joke.

New Millennium Title Group out of Maplewood, MN offered me a whopping $80 for a signing with edocs. Oh, almost forgot, it was also a 140+ mile round trip assignment!! I didn't bother to ask about any fax backs.

LMAO, The scheduler told me they were offering more than normal ($65) "because of the travel". To top off the insulting offer, she actually sounded as if she had said that with a straight face.

IMO, with offerings such as these, they rank even lower than the "normal" low ball offering companies. At least I know now that when they call (even with free incoming minutes) they are a waste of my phone minutes and MY time.

Their "normal" fee of $65 is general notary pay for me, and a lot of others as well. That kind of fee would not include edoc printing, a single fax back, but would include a requirement for immediate payment. All of these requirements are "normal" for general notary work.

HEY, New Millennium Title Group; If you want a professional SA -- THEN OFFER A PROFESSIONAL FEE! I've heard $150+ for large package PLUS fax back fees might be considered an example of such for LOCAL signings.
