OT: if FL getting a hurricane?

Heard several ads on radio that we should get our hurricane supplies here, there and everywhere.....and, of course, tune into the tv news (which I don't have).

Tomas is going to pass to the east of us I believe..

Just maybe a bit blustery and some much-needed rain.

If anything I hope the hurricane heads to the Bay area...

and then turns in another direction at the last second, after I've already been given the day off from work. ;-)
