Partial payment

Has anyone been offered partial payment and asked to accept this as payment in full from a signing service? This company is now out of business but just today I received an email offering me payment on one of my two opens invoices. I guess I'm lucky that I only have 2 old closings that I haven't been paid for. I also wonder if I don't agree to the partial payment if I will receive anything at all. Any comments or suggestions?? Thanks

If they're out of business, IMO I'd accept whatever payment you might get--something is better than nothing.
