Potential revenue opportunity...
Today is an excellent opportunity to pass out business cards. I just spent the first hour the local polling place was open and people we glad to get them. I think I'll drop in on a few other polling places in the area.

I just came back from a second location, same results. I gave out almost fifty cards. I will be going back out today, after a rest. LOL

Great idea, but no doable in Florida
AFAIK, Florida's law sets limitations on who may or may not enter the polling place itself. Aside from those voting in the election, only employees working at the polling place, for the election commission or for law enforcement are permitted on polling place grounds. If I remember correctly, the polling place grounds now encompass an area of 100 yards from any egress to the polling place. This was put in place to (1) stop voter harassment when going to vote and (2) stop the gathering of "how did you vote" by pollsters and news media.

Be careful. My former mother-in-law was almost arrested for passing out religious tracks when she was working @ a polling place.
I believe it is against the law to pass out anything at a polling place - but not 100% certain of that.

Paul and you are correct as far as I know....No passing out info around polling places.
when I was inside to vote and while they were looking up my name another person working the poll identified me as "the Notary"! The lady asked me for a bus card and someone else there also chimed in. I gave her a stack and she said thanks and would pass them out. The second place I went to, they saw my "I VOTED" sticker when I entered. I asked for the Supervisor, spoke to her and she also took a stack. So, I figured that if you gave them to someone inside, they could distribute your bus cards for you. I visited a total of four polling places today, it was the same for me each time. Maybe I was just lucky but I'm glad I tried!
