Re: Preferred Notary Network.....g/b/u?

Had a 5:30 for then on Monday, waited two hours for docs that never came in. Rescheduled for Tuesday, and I canceled when they did not make my two hour window for docs (even waited until 4:30 before cancelling) and around 8 pm last night docs came in and they were scurrying for a notary............sorry, I was booked and not interested. Seems to be an unorganized company. JMHO

I don't know that it is so much that they are 'disorganized' than the fact that this EOM is so very chaotic with the holiday being thrown in along with so very many refinancing due to low rates. I have had issue upon issue the past few days with more than one company - some of them have never presented before with these type of issues.

I don't think this EOM is a good time to pass judgement upon any company. I have worked with them and find them easy to work with and usually on top of things.

EOM or BOM - some TCs are always late w/ docs. EOM comes

12 times a yr. Professionals meet their deadlines - period. These apps are usually 6-8 wks+ in the making. How can you have a BO set aside their valuable time & then be 2,3 even 12 hrs late? And w/o notification??? That's when you know they are just plain UNPROFESSIONAL, DISORGANIZED, etc. I mean c'mon - imagine if you were running 2 hrs behind. Would you just not call & expect the BOs to be sitting nicely twiddling their thumbs? Of course not! As notaries, the quailty of our work is judged EVERYDAY- EOM, BOM or MOM!

The company mentioned is a ss, not a tc. Whether or not this company is disorganized or not is another issue, but in general, I don't think it's fair to blame the ss for disorganization at the lender or tc. HOWEVER, some either do a better job than others of dealing with the disorganization of their clients OR they have better quality clients... Wink

358415 & others. I've had good experience working with them.

What makes you think I didn't do a search first? Post 358415 only referenced faxbacks and speculation of the company's length of time in business, which had nothing to do with my question, which of course I saw prior to posting the question. Thank you all for your response.

I've had pretty good luck with them so far. Not sure if I've rated them or not, if not, I'll put them at 3 or 4 *s.
