Richmond Title

Just received a request for a 160 mile round trip signing with e docs for a whopping $150! After accepting work from them (at my normal fee) for nearly 5 years I was informed that if I "helped them out" I would be placed on their "preferred list". LMAO

I had to remind the lady on the phone that she, specifically, is the only one in their company that calls me, with low ball offers, that refuses to meet my fees for local signings. She was acting as if this was the first time she had ever spoke with me.

Jut before I hung up she attempted to get me to "accept" the job for $175 while she attempts to get approval for my full fee. I laughed and said that I don't book in assignments for less than my fee. The last one she booked with me (and meet my fee) they gave to another SA that took less after we agreed to fees. What are they smoking over there?

And after I got off the phone with them I decided to mapquest just the cities and found that they were over 20 miles off when they told me it's only this far from you.

Won't they be surprised to find that my fee will be $100 higher than today's price if they wait till the last minute to call me next week for this one.

They used to be a good company but over the last year... Frown

They would have to put this old guy up in a motel for the night plus my fee. LOL

Could they find one for $25/night? LOL I'd be afraid to have them find the hotel for me. Wink

You would have to move in with someone with what Richmond Title now offers.

Update: Now the offer is for $100!

The people at Richmond Title (aka FLEX) must be on something.

So when they didn't accept my quote and I rejected their $175 counter offer for the 160 mile round-trip signing they send me a confirmation for the same job for ONLY $100! Yes, that $100 for e docs and 160 miles of travel.

This used to be a good company, not any longer.
