Isn't Safir the owner of Genuine Title? If so, stay away and see SC.

Re: Safir Signing Agents, yes Genuine Title
IMO I have never had a problem getting paid and not much hand holding with them.
Fees are very low, but if you do your job and can live with the fee you will be paid. JMHO

It's too late. I just completed a signing for him. I didn't know he is the owner of Genuine Title. I should have posted on here first before I did it. Live and learn.

I was pleasantly suprised when I was paid half my fee when the borrower won't sign the doc's. I had heard the same thing after I posted regarding Safir Signing Agents. Never thought I would get paid.

He is not the owner of Genuine Title
unless he bought them out. The last time I did battle with him for my check, he was listed as an account rep. He is no longer listed on their contacts page. I closed 2 files for him pretty close together. One was a reverse mortgage for a blind man whose wife would not set in the room with us. His ID was expired so I tried to call Safir and the LO. While I waited the borrower was asking questions that let me know he really did not understand why he had to sign a mortgage if he did not have to make a payment and he wanted to be sure his daughter would inherit. I explained to him that I could not notarize on an expired ID and left. When Mr. Safir called, I explained why I left. He screamed and yelled at me to go back and close the loan. It was not my place to make such a decision and did not really need a current ID. BULL HOCKEY!!!
Go ahead and work for if you want. I won't.

At least was at one time associated with Genuine Title. I won’t work for them. I find Konstantin’s business practices to be shoddy at best.
