Sunset Signings, Ramona, CA A- BBB rating

Everyone that this company owes money to needs to contact BBB now, lets see that rating go way down real fast. They only have one complaint - by days end they will have 2!!

Yea, I know, I shouldn't have taken the closing, husband took it while I was on the road and I forgot to look it up when I got home, then I forgot all about it until payment didn't show up.

Maybe you didnt read my post last week....

The only way for a company to get an "A" rating is to pay for it... Try Googling BBB Scam on 20/20 on YouTube... you will be shocked..

I was called to complete a job for them. I checked their rating and comments on SC and called back and said it was pretty darn rough what I was seeing, and I was frankly worried about getting paid. He didn't hesitate and sent me a paypal payment within 5 minutes. I was impressed to say the least.....

Yea, I read it but they can't keep that rating with 25 complaints

Redd - How did you get anyone on phone to talk to, I just keep getting voice mail.

IT was all done BEFORE the signing. That's the key and the reason I was impressed that he paid BEFORE the signing. And, I appreciated it!

Redd you are as pathetic as they are!

I can't believe you have the gall to say you are impressed to be paid upfront by a scumbag" no/s-l-o-w" pay SS. You just took the fee away from a notary that has been waiting and waitng and waiting for ever ... Hope you sleep well at night. As long as you are paid, you ar happy!

Re: Redd you are as pathetic as they are!

Sheila, don't worry about me, hon. I'll sleep fine. The purpose of my post is to hopefully show that this is one way to handle those who have a one-star rating. I simply told him I could not do it and he offered to pay via paypal immediately. If the man is trying to grow his business and rebuild from a bad reputation/rating, then why get in his way? I have watched people throughout my life hit rock bottom and have to build again....and again....and some manage to land on their feet and shine, some don't. If he continues to be a deadbeat as any and everyone can continue to show on here for all to see, then SOBEIT! But as for me, in the future, if a one-star company calls, I say no like everyone else. Seriously, grow up, Sheila........

Its very rare that a SS is turning over a new leaf

once a dead beat always a deadbeat. It is a very rare legitimate company that goes from 1-2 stars to 4-5 stars in my opinion. And don't call me hon.

You're w-a-a-a-y off base with this

***Redd you are as pathetic as they are!***

This is so far out of line that you would need a bulldozer to push it back.

I -- and no doubt the poster -- am in business to stay in business. I have an obligation to myself to achieve that goal. In so doing, I have an obligation to avoid deliberately doing things to hinder another person achieving the same objective. But I have zero obligation to turn down paid up-front business just because it >might< mean that another businessperson may not or even won't get paid.

To contort a commitment to avoid cheap work so that we can attain a respectable income for the profession in general into a commitment to turn down pre-paid business in the faint hope that someone else will get paid is a stretch of incredible proportions.

If he's got any prepaid closings down my way at my fee, send him my way, please, Redd. And you're on your own in collecting any unpaid fees for ill-advised closings, Sheila. I'm not your collection agency.

Well, Hugh, I was certainly surprised to get MY fee and PRE-PAID. Wouldn't it be nice if this became the status quo!

I completed a signing for them on 11/12/2010, and still have not got paid. I have left numerous messages, and emails. I have taken your advice and reported them to the BBB. I am hoping to have some luck going this route. I saw that they only had 1 complaint that had been resolved.

I contacted the BBB and they told me they don't handle this type of complaint. I just wish someone in california would go after them with the attorney general or whomever and get this company closed.
