Tech question?

I have a Mac-I went to the apple store today to see what I could install to run windows to i could accept e-signings with this lap top. The guy said that if I used firefox or google chrome- it "may" work with the Mac and internet explorer? anybody know if that will work and how I test? thank in advance..

Yes, this can done. I won't do it it myself, but would pay a really good computer person to do it for me. Visit a really good computer store and let them partition to harddrive and install VM ware or the other recommended software from them. If possible, buy from the Apple store directly and have the technical staff answer the question. They have dealt with this issue a number of times. Not all sales people give the right answer.

Firefox and Chrome don't support some of the software used to view print docs (Swiftview)...or at least they used to not. They may by now. I use IE for my browser for loan doc stuff and FF for personal surfing, etc....kids are sold on Chrome.

Don't know if you can do this on a Mac, but I have booted

my PC to an alternative OS using a thumb drive. You would have to alter the boot sequence so that the USB is before the hard drive then if you have the thumb drive inserted at startup, it boots to whatever OS is installed there.

You can download and print PDF files on a Mac, but

the Adobe reader for Mac won't allow your printer to separate by page size, so you either have to print everything on all legal or print the legal and letter docs separately. That probably won't get fixed anytime soon as Apple and Adobe are at war over Flash.

This link might help you to run Windows on your Mac
