We love our HP
I just received an email Sunday from PC Rush.com They have an HP 3015 dual tray, monochrome laser prnter on sale right now for just under $400.00. We have a 3005 and love it. Ours is a little older model but is going strong. Anyone interested might want to check this out.

Love HP too. I have an HP P2055DN
work excellent; although I had a small issue a month ago, HP Support sent a new replacement printer the very next day at no charge to me. I also have two HP printers and maybe in the market for a replacement for my 4 in 1. Someone mention an HP MFC type printer not long ago. Between now and the first of the year is a great time to buy new, used and refurbished printers.

Re: What are the best dual-tray printers?
IMO Brother printers are the most cost effective--not expensive to purchase & operating costs (toner & cartridges) are low. When doing your research, be sure to check on the costs of toner. There's a wide spread in those costs. Good luck.

hate to tempt fate, but
I'm well into 5 and a half years with my HP 2420, and never a glitch. (Shhhhh)

I have an old HP 2420 it's a work horse and just keeps on truckin. I also have another HP and Brother. All are two drawer printers. The Brother is noisy, all are fast.

Re: What are the best dual-tray printers?
I have 2 Lexmark T640 printers. One with 2 trays and one with 3 trays, plus an envelope feeder. Both are very fast and the cost of a printed page, including toner is under 3/4 of a cent. The extended toner cartridges produce 15K pages and can be re-filled easily. The Lexmarks are a bit more costly to buy, but in the long run are the most cost efficient. Just remember that a low purchase price generally means a higher operating cost for ink, toner and drums. BTW the T640's do put out 35-40 PPM.

Re: What are the best dual-tray printers?
I am a die hard HP fan. I just bought a two drawer HP P 2055dn and couldn't be happier. HP is a true work horse. I had another HP 4000 series for 8 years and is still going strong. I also bought an Epson scanner, copier and fax for faxing docs back but it is a real piece of dung! i do not use it for printing as it is an ink jet but scanning and faxing is a joke and I can;t take it back to Staples.

Re: What are the best dual-tray printers?
I love my HP 4100DTN and HP4250 dtn. Both use easy to find, inexpensive toner. Love the duplexing...saves on paper for borrower copies. When I am in a big rush (last minute edocs) I run the borrower copy on the 4250 and the signing copies on the 4100. So I am out the door after a check over on the docs.
BTW...I bought all my printers via EBAY, look for low page counts, network jet cards, duplex (although that can be purchased separately) and ALWAYS spring for that 2nd drawer (can get separately also).
