I've not worked for them in a long while, because of their
low pay issue, but when they do meet my fee, they usually paid at 45 and that includes a reminder email to Lisa or their accounts payable gall.

I don't work for them any longer since they will not meet my fee. The last job I did for them they had changed to their version of Net 45 from a TRUE Net 30 without informing me prior to accepting the job. I had worked for them for several years at the time. When I informed them that the change in payment terms was not noted on the confirmation, as I was told to look at my confirmation for notification of changes, they made the decision not to pay my increased fees for Net 45 (really true Net 60 in their case) paying companies.
Their version of Net 45 is that they will not cut the check until 45 days after the close (at least that is Lisa told me at the time). This is not Net 45 in the real world. It is Net 60.
Love the office staff; they are some of the best! However, a nice and very professional office staff will not pay my personal bills when they are due. If they returned to a True Net 30 (payment is received within 30 days of services rendered) I would gladly accept new assignments at my normal $XXX + edoc fee for regular refinance loans instead of my higher fee for the slower paying companies. However, considering the OP, I'm not sure that they would.

Re: ASAP Pro Notary, TX
My experience has been that they don't cut the check until you contact them asking for it. Or maybe they have cut the check at the 45 day mark but then they don 't send it until I call? As I posted on another thread, I rarely work for them any more because of their low fees and long time to pay. I only accept work form them on rare occasions, and here is the criteria for the job:
- must be VERY close to home - they must meet my fee - I must not have anything better to do

I noticed that also that you need to call to get paid and then they "apologize" for the oversight. After you do call you do get paid right away for now......

Oh, so true! They always act confused and say, "Gee for some reason it wasn't included in the last run of checks." Hmmmm.

I thank everyone who replied both on line
and in PM. I have worked for them in the past but since I've got my business on hold my question wasn't about pay periods but rather a more unusual situation involving another NSA. The NSA's who responed gave me some information that allowed me to follow up and I'd just like to say one thing, Lisa and Patti were quick to respond (within 15 minutes) last night and they have fixed the problem on their end.
