A challenge to Notaries

OK I have been bashed pretty well just because I said I have not had a problem with a signing company.

OK I don't have one signing company paying in under 45 days.

To all of you Notaries that say you get paid in 30 days and some in 14 days I have this challenge to you.

Why not list some of these signing companies you are speaking about that are paying in 30 days or less.

Also when doing business with a signing company all you have to do is look at the resources of Notary Rotary which has a section where we all rate a signing company.

I just believe that is where you should post your like or dislike of a company or a notary not bashing anyone in this forum.

This forum should be for helping each other not bashing and I will not go down to that level.

So please make sure you know who I am before you attack my character.

I suspect all of the people that have bashed me will not take up the challenge to post signing companies which they work with that pay in 30 days or under.

Yes, this is challenging. If you understand this site, then

you should know about Signing Central. We post comments on companies, both good & bad.
If you want to know what companies pay in 30 days or less, go looking for yourself. There are plenty of companies with 4 & 5 stars. Also read the comments.
Since you admit you don't have any companies paying under 45 days, then that speaks for itself. Some of us have learned through experience that there are plenty of companies that are run like companies & pay in a respectable amt. of time.
First you come on the site and want to give good reviews to a company that many of us have dealt with. If you've been bashed, it may be that as a newcomer you didn't realize you are dealing with a lot of seasoned pros. Regular posters get very irritated when this kind of thing happens--several posts about one company the same day. We've seen it before, and know that someone's behind it. You put yourself in that place & IMO you can't blame us for the responses you got. This board has seen shills before.

Re: He's baiting you for your client list, guys.

I am not baiting anyone.

That just shows your lack of seeing what I have been actually stating that is all.

I don't need or want your customer and not one of you are in my state so what do you have to worry about.

Re: He's baiting you for your client list, guys.

I was determined to not chime in here, but so much for that. I think you're missing the point that whatever you or anyone else posts here becomes part of a somewhat permanent record that is accessible by anyone who chooses to come here, including lots of new people.

That means that if anyone posts their so-called good client list, not only do you see it, but the guy the next street over - to me and everyone else here - also can see it. So what state you happen to be in is utterly irrelevant. Your area may not have tons of competition, but some areas do. Tons and tons and tons. Plus, some of our "good clients" aren't interested in being bombarded with phone calls and having their mailbox filled with inquiries from people across the country who want to get into their database. If they need someone somewhere, they can always check here or elsewhere. So it may actually be a courtesy to them to not mention them publicly.

It also means that other people who come here to read may be influenced by any of the posts that show up. Therefore, when someone posts an opposing opinion, it many not be because they're trying to make a personal attack against you, but that they feel a need to set the record straight (according to their experience and beliefs) for the next person who comes along and reads this thread. I know that that's the key motivation behind the vast majority of the posts I make. We are all entitled to our opinions - but people are also entitled to disagree. The more vehemently they disagree, the more likely they are to post. I guess you've proved that.

But it looks to me that you're more than a bit outnumbered here with your opinion. To me, and many others, that speaks volumes - not about you, but about how people feel about Speedy.

Sorry for the duplicate post...

I tried to refresh my screen, but got a message to resend. That's only happened to me once before - and may have sent another duplicate post, now that I think of it. I have no idea why that's happening, but I'll try to figure it out...

Re: He's not getting his name as payee on checks so he needs

Well I can say this as my Mom always told me as long as some one is picking you they are leaving some one else alone.

So if it makes all of you feel superior and better by trying to belittle me have at it. :-)

I have big shoulders and alligator skin therefore go for the gusto and make yourselves feel good. :-)

I have been in the business world way to long and on this earth way to long to worry about people not liking me.

As long as I can look into the mirror and know that I have not tried to hurt anyone by calling them names or insulting them then I am good.

I hope all of you can say the same.

I am glad that all you that continue to bash me and do not even know me are people that I will not ever have to call friend because that would be just wrong.

And I don't go around bashing other professionals because their opinion is different from mine.

God Bless all of you.

How about you heed your own words?

About 25 posts ago you said "that's all I have to say about that." Yet you're still yapping. You long ago stopped helping your case and Speedy's case. And if it weren't the weekend, I'd guess Harry would have shut you down long ago for excessive noise.

I personally like Frank a lot so I've stayed out of the fray until now. I think he's a decent guy who's over his head financially. But he didn't ask me to post on his behalf because he knows he still owes me money after about a dozen promises that the check is in the mail. This as recently as two or three weeks ago. You've had a good experience, we get it. Most of us have not. I hope they get it together, I really do. But how about you respect our opinion and experience as well? Wait, don't answer that. Just shut up already.

Re: How about you heed your own words?

I will once everyone stops telling me how to think.

I have not once told anyone how to think or what to think I made one little post and the sharks swarmed in.

I am sorry if you have not had a good experience however just because I and some other have and we have said so we are the bad people and get told how stupid we are or that we are shills.

I respect your position and I get it just stop telling me how to think is what I am saying.

You have your opinion and that is fine just stop judging me and we will all get along.

Re: How about you heed your own words?

dsNo one has said to say any certain thing or another - but many wonder why you don't just be quiet. Most post what they have to say, then let it go. Why are you so insistent =
1. because you like to see your name in print
2. you like to see yourself talk
3. you have a deep seated need to be seen and heard
4. stubborn

Why don't you go practice some kicks or something?
