A new one on me
Just received a call from someone who said they needed a signing agent downtown in an attorney's office immediately. Seems that neither the attorney who was present nor the notary public who was supposed to do the closing had any idea of how to handle loan documents. The caller needed someone there in 15 minutes.
One wonders...

Sequel: A new one on me
Just received a second call from the same company, 10 minutes after the first, still looking for a signing agent.
Let's see: Need one in 15 minutes, spent the past 10 minutes trying to get one there in 15 minutes, now 5 minutes left...maybe they should have accepted my offer to be there in 40 minutes?

The answer is YES
"One wonders..."
Answer: YES, charge a rush charge. And if the notary sits in for "training" also charge an training fee.
LOL That is an odd call.

Hello, my friend.
Just a heads up -- You never did indicate if you are interested in working the auction in your area this weekend, but I sent you a referral from Jessica, FinishLine.
I told her to give you, Yoli and SoCal-Woodie a call. I also told her that none of you would approve of the suggested fee, but give you a try anyway. It's your choice, not mine.
