Another poll: which lender has the smallest refi pkgs

in today's market?

I'm voting for Citi, with Chase not far behind.

I saw a title/escrow pkg the other day that was almost as big as that without any lender docs. And, of course, it had a bazillion pages to be notarized, all of which required cert's. be replaced, and some with separate docs for husband and wife.

I'm beginning to think I need to ask about the title co more than the lender any more, 'cause their docs sometimes take as much time as lender docs. The biggest cost in a package, imo, is the time at the table (incl. before and after prep work).

Citimortgage, Wells Fargo, Provident, Chase HARP, a local bank, SBB&T, what about those BofA loans especially if in the name of trustees for a living/family trust. The worst.

Re: Quicken: I wondered.

I wonder who is assigning Quicken loan signings these days?
Last one I was offered was in 2006 and it was a whoppin' $50 through a now-defunct SS.
(I declined)

I believe it is JMT and they offer a whopping $50.00.

I was told for notary to receive Quicken signings they had to have a smart phone and they pay $50

I thought that smart phone requirement was

requested from the SS, not Quicken.
