B of A Closing Instructions

Does anyone print these 30 pages? I've been doing it, but is it necessary?

I print them for the original package to go with other docs, as directed, and they may well be needed by someone else. Must admit, I normally do not print them for the borrowers, for they can't use them and have absolutely no need to even see them. If my notary instructions are in the main set of docs, I print them for the original docs package and borrower's copy. If I get instructions on the assigment sheet or in a separate email, I do not print those for the borrower or the original docs package, for I just print them for myself.

agree, I print everything for the borrower

but on the borrowers' copies I usually duplex (print front and back) the B of A General Closing instructions ONLY. All the rest of their copies I print on one side only, just like the ones I send back. I think the borrower should have everything.

It always starts a big debate about printing for the borrower's pkg. Some feel it's not to our discretion to decide what to include. I don't print those instructions for the borrower. They aren't mean for the borrower. I have a few companies that don't even include them in the docs they send me.

I wish we did not have to print them at all! I print them to send back but not for the bo copies.

Re: B of A Closing Instructions- Good Riddance!

So much of what we see is a local regional thing, I am happy to report that ever since Countrywide became BofA, I have not seen that "instruction book", othewise the package is about the same.

Yes, print them and give a copy to the borrower(s)

As advised by legal counsel, **everything** you received, except instructions specifically addressed to the NSA, needs to be provided to the borrower(s). Otherwise, it may be construed that other documents were 'missed' or not provided. Don't put yourself in the position of being a scapegoat for the title company or lender if a document isn't included in the package.

hundreds and hundreds of Countrywide loans and now

BOA loans I have been printing all those lender's instructions, lender will not send it if they didn't want you to give to the borrowers. I agree with Paul, everything I get from title/escrow will get a copy for the borrowers. It's not my call to decide what the borrower gets printed, if they send it, I will print it. What about the 3 or more copies of the TIL or sometimes 12 copies of the RTC?

I do, except with one particular TC

Who advised me, in writing, not necessary to print brws copies, however, they do have the brws initial those pages for their (lender's) copies.
