Columbus Day
Getting some mixed responses on this but I think that most banks are closed. I am supposed to have a closing Mon night, no docs yet. Did tell SS to make sure we would get them on Mon because of the holiday & she said she had totally forgotten about the holiday & would follow up w/title. I have not heard anything back either way but was just looking for people's general experience w/this. Does anyone know if most title co.'s are open tomm? I think the stock market is open, for whatever thats worth.

I have appts. today also. Business as usual as far as I know. It's a Federal holiday--banks, post office, schools, etc. closed.

I was at Chase Bank on Friday and they had signs that they would be open Monday, October 11. Erwin

Indeed, Chase is open today, the only bank in town open.

I asked the same question on Friday. I have a closing at a bank and I confirmed today that they are open. Only have 2 for today, still waiting on docs for the non-bank closing.
