GEORGIA BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Dear Georgia Colleagues:

I have never received any business from this site. I checked today and it appears that my profile has been viewed 92 times but still no business. Is it just me????? I wonder, am I doing something wrong. I have a standard membership, and so I am wondering if therein lies the problem. In other words, do I need to pay a fee to ensure that my profile gets more visability. Thoughts????

P.S. Business has been exceptionally slow. Does anyone know of a reputable company (signing company, title company, or law firm) that I should contact that is in need of an experienced closer. Any referrals would be appreciated.

Are you an attorney?

Considering the number of listings ahead of you here

I'd most definitely go for a premium membership....

It all depends on where you are in the listings. If your area doesn't have a lot of notaries, then getting business will be easier. If your area is saturated, going premiere will pay for itself.

Do you market yourself anywhere besides here? It could be your area, or it could be that you simply aren't getting the word out effectively.

One other thought - have you gone through Signing Central and signed up with companies? Nobody is going to knock your door down...you have to knock down theirs (figuratively, please). Sign up with tons of companies. Every day I sign up with some and spend 8 hours on Sundays doing the same. This can be a job or a career.

It's just a wild guess, but since GA is an attorney-only state for loan closings, if you are not an attorney then perhaps that's why you have few calls. If you ARE an attorney, then I say yes definitely upgrade to Premier - I am Premier and my husband is not (he only does closings part time after working his regular job). I get way more calls than he does. But on rare occasion, he will get a call that I did not get first.

get a website and put yourself on every single search engine

out there, for starters.

And you should market lenders and/or TC's in your zip code area, then city.

In my opinion you should always link your profile to your posts, to make it easier for people to contact you. A premier membership would help too.
You can try : Atlanta Signatures 404-214-0370 or, Joseph Buttimer 229-364-8207 or, William Fair Closing; 678-705-3408 These are attorneys that use other attorneys statewide in GA for closings.
Good Luck
