Maybe I'm crazy, but isn't the document backdated?
The notary's commission is only valid for four years, which predates the issue/expiration date of the commission as stamped on the document, right?

Okay, Marian, now I can't count backwards either. n/m

Re: Maybe I'm crazy, but isn't the document backdated? No.
Doc signed August 21, 2006. Notary commission expires March 26, 2010, meaning the commission start date is March, 27, 2006, well before the date of notarization.
Or am I missing something?

No, PAW, the quality is poor; can't read the comm. date. n/m

Here's where I admit to my embarassment...
It's a document I found while surfing Twitter. When I first saw it, I SWEAR I thought that the notary's signature was on the right, and "Diana's" signature was under the notarial block.
Like I said... my brain is mushy. I need a nap.
