Great mortgage news!
Check this out. Bankrate is one of my favorite "newsworthy" and accurate reporting sites about our mortgage industry.

If last month is any indication of how busy we're all going to be until our leaders realize a way out of this mess, well I'm stepping up my vitamin and exercise regime.
I don't have any clearances for foreclosures these days, only postponements. I'll bet a lot of people will get to stay in their homes longer or forever, given the banks can't find the documents they need to prove they are owners of the notes. This is epic, turning back the foreclosures. Like trying to stop a stampede of wild mustangs.

Thanks for the info. Last week I did a signing for a SVP of one of the banks mentioned. He said it was really a mess they were dealing with. When I proceeded to execute the jurat portion of the signing he said laughingly, "That's one of the problems there, they can't locate who the oath was given to"? We did have a good time talking about the mess.

James, what does that mean exactly? I'm confused by that
comment? Thanks!

That line was a quote from the article infering that oaths
were not given to the signer because in many cases the signer was not even present when the notarization took place.
