Harper Notary Services, Philadelphia, PA.

I am unable to put this SS into SC as it states it is already listed and it is if you are not logged in. I did a structured settlement for this SS on the 3rd of September and have yet to receive payment. I have e-mailed twice with no response. I just spoke with JG Wentworth and was told Harper Notary Services has been paid and they no longer use her. Just FYI in case you are contacted by Shakina at Harper Notary Services in Philadelphia.

Hello,
I was contacted by Shakina and asked to do a structured settlement, and also to forward date the docs for 10 days ahead, hold the docs the 10 days and then overnight them. Florida has a safeguard for people that they MUST have 10 days to review the settlement docs prior to signing, so this appeared to be a direct fraud request. I notified JG Wentworth and the NNA of this and that may be why they no longer use Harper Notary services. Anyone that is contacted by this company, please be careful.

That is what the instructions said to the client who was signing the docs. I was contacted to do the signing on a certain date and that's the same date that was reflected on the notary certificates I filled out. Not quite sure why you contacted NNA; they wouldn't have a clue.

Jan, I attempted to list Harper Notary Services when I could not find them on SC earlier this year. To date, this is the only company that I have attempted to list that has never been listed. I don't believe that Shakina has an agent listing as she informed me that she was not a notary herself but a "notary assigning company".

She had stated that she did not want her company to be listed because she only placed orders for J.G. Wentworth and did not want other companies calling her. With that in mind, she may not have responded to NotRot's attempts to verify and this may be the reason they are not listed now. This is only a guess on my part, I have not received an update about the attempted listing.

I have accepted work directly from J.G. Wentworth in the past (and been paid in 14 days or less). I do not understand why they are sending their orders to SS companies to call the same people they have on file instead of calling them directly.

I spoke with JG Wentworth yesterday. They informed me they no longer do business with Harper Notary Services. I also got calls directly from them and was always paid with no problem. I hope they decide to go back to this method of assigning their jobs.

Sorry, I didn't finish my thought.

I hope JG Wentworth decides to go back to the method of assigning their jobs directly to the notary.

I did the same thing for Shakina Harper in August of 2010 and still waiting on payment. I also spoke with JG Wentworth and they indicated they have paid her and no longer use her as well. After 5 months, emails, PayPal invoices, and mailed invoices I came up with nothing so I just filed a law suit in small claims court out of Indianapolis, IN.

WARNING: If you are ever contacted by Shakina Harper you are best to decline to provide services. You will probably not get paid.
