Costco is always good. I did see Office Max has a $44.00 case price on Legal, with 10% back.

Walmart was always cheapest, with their 5-ream box (letter size). They've recently redesigned their store format into a supermarket/department store. No more boxes of paper. Got to buy one ream at a time. Works out to 7 cents more per ream. Still cheaper than anywhere else.

Staples is always a good deal if you have them in your area. If your on their email list they are always sending out specials so you can almost always get a discount and the best part...they deliver free!

Re: wonder if Costco prices are regional
Yes, Costco prices are regional. However, they never differ by more than a dollar or two at most on their case paper prices in different parts of the country.

Re: I also like the quality of Costco paper(GeorgiaPacific)best!
I agree Marilynn! I once got some cheaper paper through a deal with Staples, and I definitely saw a difference in quality. Supposedly it was the same brightness and weight. I like the Costco paper and it's consistently cheap enough that I don't waste time looking for a super cheap deal every time I need paper.
The only time I found a better deal with comparable quality was when I got two cases of HP letter paper at Office Depot for $40.

Please remember that if you order on-line in most states, you DO NOT pay sales tax. Also, no hassle about transporting, no fuel costs for you...Makes the following offer seem better than most? (Disclosure: I have no affilliation with Business-Supply).
www.business-supply.com has Xerox brand for $4.19/ream. Buy 10 get free shipping then use the code welcome10 to get 5% off dropping the cost to $3.91 a ream.

Office Depot is selling legal size for $49.99 with 50% back in rewards points, thats like paying $25 a case not including a coupon they have on line for $10 off a purchase of $20 or more.

Could be a good deal, but that assumes you will be in need of $25 in office supplies from Office Depot at some point. And who knows how much paper will be the next time you need to order that. I prefer to not go with discounts that come in the form of rewards points that tie me in to one store. But that's me.

I guess it would be a personal preference. Since I am a rewards customer I get rewards money back for when I have to have documents printed, buy pens and other things using by discount coupons and rewards points and that is a substantial savings.
