Matricula card for id

Went to do a modification last night. Borrower presented a matricula card had no other id at all. I wondered how he got anything done. And, here he owns a home?

oh my. I always, always ask in the confirmation call about their ID. Would have saved you a trip.

You said that this was a modification. When he took out the

original loan, ( if prior to 7-1-09) the Mattricula Card , as "an identification document", was legal in Illinois, probably not very good, but , none the less , legal.
