New Notary in Collegeville, PA
Hello my fellow notaries! I am eager to get started closing mortgages, but I need to get training by shadowing someone on several mortgage closings.
I was recently layed-off as an Executive Assistant so this would be a fantastic way to make some extra money. If you happen to be interested in allowing me to shadow along with you on several closings, I would sincerely appreciate it. I am very professional, I have my background screening, E & O Insurance, and an official member of the National Notary Association.
Or if you could refer me to someone or somewhere to get training I would again be so appreciative.
Please contact me via email at [e-mail address] or call me on my cell at 484-947-9309. Again thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Jessica, you probably will not get anyone to allow you to shadow them. First of all, they would be training their competition. Second of all, I think title companies and signing services would frown on this practice.
There is a training program sold on this website, called the Professional Signing Agent Training Manual. I have not used it, but have seen others recommend it.

You can get a lot of info here. I suggest that you start
with msg. 33325. It's a lot of reading, but worth the time. As some of us have learned, I wouldn't count heavily on what you learned from the NNA. There are other good training sites. One of our fellow notaries has a training website. Hopefully, she will contact you. This is a really tough biz, but I wish you success.
