Notary blamed in marriage fraud case (Florida)

http://www.tampabay.com/news/notary-blamed-in-marriage-fraud-case/1125836

New and improved ways of notary fraud spring eternal.

"Michelle Testa is suing the notary and the bank he used to work for because she says he fraudulently notarized a marriage certificate that led to her credit being ruined."

After reading the article, I am not sure that Michelle isn't a tiny bit also to blame for the baby-daddy's and her continuing relationship...but, oh yes, the notary is definitely one of the culprits.

Another case of someone not appearing before the notary. Come on!! A marriage certificate? Glad the notary's commission is revoked.

I missed it the first time....

Wow! No ceremony? No "I do" or "I will"? If I were that notary, I'd be shaking in my boots right now!

What's next?!

Looks like some changes may be coming. Only the ethical and educated will survive.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. (or defense)
