Premier Signing Service, Columbus, OH

Accepted signing while on the road yesterday. Checked NotRot asap and found terrible reviews. Immediately turned signing back to them and let them know why. Here's their response:
===============================
We have worked with you before? Did we have issues with you directly when it came to payment? When it comes to the reviews that you have read the reason for those is due to the fact that I have to ask hundreds of times for notaries to send us their W-9s for payment and they do not always listen or send it prompt. That is why they either were paid slowly or did not received payment we require the W-9 for our insurance purposes. I am sure you still do not want the signing but if that changes please let me know. I appreciate you letting us know though.

Thank you!
======================================

So, for those of you who posted bad reviews: Did you, in fact, not turn in your W-9? Did you ever get paid?

I don't intend to change my mind about not taking that signing. There were just TOO MANY negative reports. Just curious ... TIA Wink

Yoli - they are lying to you. They have had my W-9 for several years. To date they still owe me for a Jan. 2010 & a June 2010 closing. I received payment for a March closing in Oct. So be prepared to work for free

Just curious - why would you accept a signing in June, when they haven't paid you for a signing from January?

Somehow the file was put in Premier Title's folder - my stupid mistake

I haven't done a signing for them in over a year, but they always paid me within 30 days. I'm surprised to hear they've gone downhill that bad.

The W-9 excuse is the standard "blame the notary" line. I believe most of us would send them instantaneously if it means getting paid sooner. They probably never asked for it, and are using that as an excuse. I always send a W-9 after getting first assignment, even if they don't ask for it. Then I make a note of the date I sent it on their account.

They've always been good to me, but I haven't heard from them in months. Enjoyed working with George, Matt, and Kenny. Hope they recover, and soon!

Premier Signing owes me for 2 which date way back. If I do not hear from them soon, as promised by Matt, I will let everyone know.

They are absolutely the worst. They have lied over and over about money they owe me. Continually pass the buck, don't return calls, every excuse in the book. How they stay in business is amazing.
