Speedy Closings
I just read all the complaints and I really have to protest here. I have been doing business month after month steadily with them for years now. I have never, ever, ever been stiffed not even for one cent. If my check is wrong, I call or e- mail Frank and he takes care of it. Period. OK-they aren't always the fastest (and they will admit that) but it is always within 75 days. Talk to Frank. He will listen. That's better than a lot of other companies. You are all passing up decent steady business. Thats my two cents.

Re: Give Us a Break
Anyone who could make an excuse for all the pain this man Frank has caused with non-payment and late 90 payments, isn't sensitive to their fellow notaries, is selfish and out for themselves. As previously stated, I checked this company Speedy in NJ out on NCafe. I saw he had 6 complaints and 5 were resolved so I saw no problem. After I did one of two signings for this company, I noted their strange payment request, that I send an invoice at the end of the month. I checked them out here and I was horrified.
An example of Frank's mindset is when I asked to be removed from future signings by Speedy due to their history, he replied "I noted in our database you are signed up with several of our sister agencies and a few title companies as well. I have removed you from all of them and they will not call you again."
That is a threat and a sign of a criminal mind in my opinion. It's unprofessional and clearly demonstrates a certain "revenge" if you don't cooperate with our 90 day payment plan, we will black list you in the industry.
I will not be held hostage to these criminals. It is criminal not to pay people for their work knowing these folks can't collect. It is also criminal collusion to go on this board and claim you're particular situation should override the other information as if you're just a shining example of someone who deserves to be paid while others are not. "I work for criminals who think I'm special. I'm their mouthpiece. They pay me and all the rest are lying."
Get a grip 60-90 day payment terms are unacceptable. Long history of non-payment. I'd like to say to Frank, pay off these complainants or shut the hell up.

I never had any problem in working with Frank or Ron. It's not personal. Waiting for payment for 75 days is just plain ridiculous!!!!!!!!

I've worked for Frank for years. In fact, when I first started my business 7 years ago, he was my top account and gave me endless work. I have always found him to be pleasant, a gentleman and very professional. I continue to work with him and will do so for as long as we can together. Payment is done on a summary billing basis and always paid on time. In addition to working with Frank, I have found all of his office colleagues to be easy and pleasant to work with as well and they consistantly display a good sense of humor and sound business sense. I have completed over 5000 closings and consider myself a good judge of title and signing companies. I would gladly do business with Frank and Speedy any time.

You are in NJ, they are in NJ - very easy for you to sue in
small claims if they don't pay you (and Speedy knows that). With so many poor reviews dating back to 2007, I tend to believe them.

Jane, your posts don't add up .....
In message 261690, you are trashing a company for "going on 60 days", which to me means less than 60 days, yet you are perfectly willing to have 75 days be ok for another company.
If you check the all the notary forums, the company you like to give 75 days to (and they are lowballers as well) has negative posts going all the way back to 2002.
