"restructured" fees

Ok ppl, how many have heard that (and i am sure this has been talked about on here before but I am new to forum) that tc are lowering settlement fees to borrower so therefore our fee has to be adjusted by ss?? Is this a joke or what?? I have heard from mostly all ss that this is the case, many times it is listed on settlement statement, many times not....if they are "restructuring" fees, why is ss service not listed on stl stmt or settlement fee not listed at all?? Sometimes they are and sometimes not, and I don't want to hear that they (ss service) carries much more e n o than we do....have been cut out by most tc by ss which is bs and I carry an adequate amount of e n o....any feedback?

Haha. That's a good one. I haven't seen lower fees to the borrowers. I did one last week where the broker goofed & included some of their internal paperwork in the pkg. They were making over $7K on that loan. If by "restructuring" they mean that they still take all they can get & throw us a little change. Be aware that the ss are really having bidding wars for work. In that scenario they are offering less because they have had to lower their fees also.

I explain that I've restructured my fees (and my client list) with great success this year. My fees went up. ;-)

That's the whole point of not supporting the lowballers. If

the fees continue to drop, how can you possibly make a living? There's only so many hours in a day. Sad, but ppl just don't realize everytime you take a 40, 60 or even $85 signing, you're making it harder on yourself - esp in the long run! SMH.
