continuing on the low baller SS subject....
I get a small thrill, when certain SS get in a bind especially at EOM, say they'll pay "whatever you want"....
But during 'normal' closing times (whatever that is) they all seem to use the same Top Ten Reasons why they can't pay decent fees....?
1. oh wow, WE'RE not even getting that much from our client....
2. we ONLY PAY $XX...
3. we don't even pay our in-house nsa's that much....
4. ha ha ha...click....
5. you want how much for spanish speaking nsa services?
6. you'll NEVER get that much from any SS around here!
7. oh, but can't you do it for $50 less?
8. I can get another notary to do it for $XX....
9. notaries in your area are doing these for $XX....
AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE!
10. "$XXX? But you're only 15 miles from the location?
