American Freedom Assurance
I have read the reviews. Some were waiting on payment - has it come through? Have first loan scheduled for Friday - curious if they really have "turned around"

No, I never even worked for them. I had posted a comment in response to Msg #351787. They somehow felt the need to reach out and reassure me to send in my outstanding invoices. Do you think they would pay them, if I sent them my OLD upaid invoices from AA notary, Eleventh Hour Signings, Signature Company, LIA signings, AA- Notary, Documents on the Run, etc?

Sheila, I got a PM from AFA too, although I am not owed any money. It said if I was owed anything, to please contact him.

I think they are turning things around. They have paid me up to date and the communication has greatly improved. The person there is Mick Cancio who I think is trying hard to get the company back on track.

I concur. I have also dealt with Mick and he made sure to rectify my payment situation with AFA after I contacted him. I truly think he is trying to do everything possible to improve AFA's poor reputation. I think it will just take some time before we see what the results will be.

If you've got a contact for payables, I'd love to hear it 'cause they owe me a bundle, and it's getting pretty stale (3mo+) I only have two companies with older invoices in my system and I think they're both out of business.

ooops--I'm a dolt.
Ooops--I'm a dolt and just now read the later message with the payables contact. I'll send my invoices ASAP.

I had outstanding invoices that were over 45 days late. Sent an email and was contacted by Mick. Paid me within a week. Mick told me that they had someone new in accounting - I had read that in an earlier post here as well. All in all I feel AFA paid me fairly, and responded quickly to my inquiry as to late payment. I would work for them again.

Glad to hear that Mick seems to be keeping his word. Hope it continues and also hope they revamp their invoicing and payment policy to make it faster and more user-friendly.
